Are My NFL 09-10 season predictions right?

You’re WAY too optimistic with the Dolphins, Bengals, Broncos, Falcons and 49ers.

    Oakland Raiders[6-7] wins
-worse, I’m a raiders fan btw, jamoney has been TERRIBLE in OTAs and so has Garcia
    New York Giants[9-10] wins
-They did better than this last year without Umenyiora
    Minnesota Vikings[5-8] wins
-Wildcat could be promising in Minnesota now, 7-8 wins isn’t out of the question though, highly doubt they go as low as 5 or 6
    Atlanta Falcons[11-14] wins
-0% chance they’ll hit 14 wins, pass coverage severely lacking
    San Francisco 49ers[11-12] wins
-I’m presuming you’re a 9ers fan, Crabtree is nice, but the 9ers dont have a QB to throw to him
    Seattle Seahawks[5-7] wins
-They did poor last year because they were plagued by injuries, 5-7 wins only if 80% of their WRs and best DLman get injured like in 08′

Also touchy on the Titans, Bears and Dolphins

Broncos are definitely not the same team they were a the beginning of this last season.

i scrolled right down to my fav team the eagles and 9-11 . thats a pretty fair assumption i think ur predictions are spot on for the most part. no no no i just looked at the rest of the list and i think u were really high when u wrote that. jags only 5-6 wins….titans 7-9 (dont forget they were the last undefeated team last year)…caralina 7-10 (they’ll get 10 wins at least).. man i think u need to re-evaluate ur predictions cuz my book looks totally different..

    I’d bet money they’re not.

I think its funny your only giving the Vikings 5-8 wins. Considering they have 6 pretty much locked wins against their sub par division.

Apparently you don’t follow the Vikings very well either, last year they should have never lost a game, maybe 1-2, each loss was from a terrible coaching mistake (5 field goals in a 18-15 loss to the Colts) (numerous Special Teams TDs to the Bears in a 49-42 something that game, Bears should never get over 14)

Vikings also played without Starting MLB EJ Henderson and Heath Farewell (star special teamer) all season

Yes i know the Vikings have the Turnover bug – Tavaris throws at least 1 pick a game and Fumble Peterson will do his thing as well but realistically the Vikings will be in the 9-11 range for wins

    Too high:
    Patriots (10-11) wins
    Bengals (6-9) wins
    Broncos (6-9) wins
    Cowboys (7-9) wins
    49ers (8-10) wins

    Too low:
    Jets (6-8) wins
    Ravens (8-10) wins
    Chargers (10-11) wins
Redskins (8-11) wins… I don’t think they’ll win less games than last year.
    Vikings (9-11) wins.
    Seahawks (7-9) wins.

Overall pretty good. Most of my disagreements are pretty close.

And a huge range for a lot of your predictions, why not 5 or six games, but you put up to a four game range, hell anyone can do that…that’s not a prediction, that’s a guess. How about this, playoffs for these teams.

    AFC
    Patriots
    Steelers
    Colts
    Chargers
    WILCARD-Texans, Baltimore

    NFC
    Eagles
    Bears
    Saints
    Cardinals
    WILDCARD-Falcons, Panthers

    Good luck.

Not really, Pats can range from 8-12 because Brady returning doesn’t necessarily mean more wins yet. He looked good at practice, but he has yet to take the field.

Also, JAX made many changes including 2 strong OTs with Eugene Monroe and Eben Britton in the 1st 2 rounds.

Plus, where have you been this offseason, how do u expect the Cowboys to have more than 8 wins. They lost nearly all their amazing veterans including Greg Ellis who made the Pro Bowl only 2 years ago. They are making great changes for the future with much talent that has yet to blossom, but the players they have are too young and the team lost much of it’s leadership players.

The Vikes I see going 9-7 depending on their QB situation. Rosenfels can win a couple of games, but I say that AP will step up and guide his team to wins.

As for the Cards, they can range from 4-11. Depending on how well the team can recoup from their Super Bowl loss, most teams fail to come back from it and go into many years of losing and rarely come back from it in 2-3 years. But Kurt Warner has to be the toughest QB in the NFL, he can lead a team to the Super Bowl again. But situations with Boldin need to get better.

ATLANTA 11-14 WINS: Your kidding right… Matt Ryan was good last season but not that good and with teams now having 16 + 1 playoff game of tape on him I see Atlanta struggling to get to 9 wins this year.
