Texans and the Chiefs??? Really??!? I dunno, I think the Texans aren’t good enough for that division yet and the Chiefs are still way too young IMO.

Pats
Steelers
Jaguars*
Chargers

Colts
Bills* or Broncos*
NFC:
Giants
Saints*
Vikings
Cardinals

Cowboys*

Im going to say the Texans and the 49ers.
maybe the chiefs but i doubt it
The vikings this year or the next are going to hit it big depending on the draft and trades i guarantee it

Houston and SF will not be a surprise if they make the playoffs. they are actually supposed to be in playoff contention.
KC, Detroit, St. Louis, and Oakland would be surprises if they go to the playoffs.
I believe the teams that will be good that ****** this year will be Jax, KC, and Green Bay.

Of your list, I’d say the Texans and the Broncos are the teams to watch out for.
I think the Saints are going to go downhill this year because they have absolutely no room in the salary cap to improve their defense through free agency and most likely they will not be able to re-sign Vilma – who is probably their best defender..

i think the texans will go far in the season

I like the Washington Redskins, Oakland Raiders, and San Francisco 49ers.
First, Oakland looked like they were getting the running game going last year. If they can get a decent threat at wide out, Russell might be able to make enough big plays down the field to give Oakland a shot in the diluted AFC West. I don’t see any team in this division getting more than 9 wins, so Oakland could have a shot.
Washington chances depend on Portis’ attitude and Campbell’s progression. After last season, Campbell now has the benefit of being in the West Coast offense two years. If Thomas and Kelly contribute more and allow for Randle El to go to the slot receiver position, then he might have more success. Also, if Portis can keep his legs going and his mouth shut behind a healthy offensive line, this team could add another two wins to their total from last year.
San Francisco is everyone’s preseason pick to finally break through and get back to the playoffs. Sinlgetary is a tough-nosed coach with what seems to be the discipline to get guys playing the way they should. That is something Nolan couldn’t do. With a smash-mouth offense with Gore as the focus, the QB situation becomes less of an issue. The defense has a couple of young stars like Patrick Willis and Manny Lawson.

–Houston Texans: they will be as long as their QB stay healthy.
–New Orleans Saints: no way did you miss the nfl the past two years. they are overrated each off season. plus i dont like them
and agree on the remaining teams+ the bills they were so close last year.

The texans have to get bigger on the O-line to run the offense they want. They also need a Back that dosen’t get injured.
Kansas City has too mush coach turnover to be a contender this year, but I look for them next.
Other than that I like your picks. I might add Jacksonville

I agree with your 5 picks except the Chiefs… I really don’t see them bouncing back next year. I think it will take them 2-3 more years before they are really competitive again.
My tops from each conference would be the 49ers and the Texans as the “biggest” surprises. A lot of people aren’t giving these teams the credit they deserve, while on the other hand, you hear a lot about the Saints and the Broncos.
In regard to the Jaguars… I think they are capable of having a rebound season, but it’s going to be tough in that division. If the Texans make the playoffs, that doesn’t leave much room for Jacksonville.

The Texans, Saints, Browns, and 49ers. Will all have winning records next year, but only 2 will make it to the playoffs.
